S-BoT

Smart Box of Tricks provides small server appliances using IBM software coupled with a range of internet services and support. Smart Box of Tricks is a complete solution for the small business and home office.

It includes two hardware appliances,one for low volume use and a small number of software applications (S-BoT1) and one for higher volumes and more complex applications (S-BoT2).

Both S-BoT's have the same case,and can be mounted horizontally or vertically

The IBM software that comes pre-installed is an all in one solution that comprises:

Internet Services

To help the small business and home office maximise the use of this package,Smart Box of Tricks offers additional internet services:

  • Broadband connection specifically designed for business use and the S-BoTs. If you have an existing connection and depending on requirements,provision can be made at installation.
  • Internet Service Provision.   A tailored small business access to the internet.
  • Domain Name Registration.  To provide a presence for your company on the internet and an address for internet information to be sent and received at your company.
  • Web Hosting.  To provide an external showcase / internet site for your business
  • Additional applications and services that reside on the S-BoT’s

Support

Finally,this great package can be tailored to suit your individual needs at the time of order,including various levels of support:

  1. Install and Train.  An engineer will visit and spend a day installing the hardware and provide training on the main features of S-BoT to your employees.  Ongoing support is included.
  2. A Maintenance contract (Maintain) that provides server monitoring,proactive health checks and a free telephone support number (S-BoT2 only).
  3. Migration of your legacy information.
  4. Consultancy for advanced features.
