S-BoT1 is perfect for the start up or home business which has between one to five employees and who wants to use basic services straight out of the box,such as email,file share and simple webhosting. The technical specification and price of the appliance has been designed specifically for the home business.
It doesn’t take much to extend the capabilities beyond the standard software however,for example,you can use it to stream music and store your movie files. If you want to take the capabilities a step further,you can add a photoshare application such as Coppermine or a blog tool such as WordPress on the web server.
It has a very low power consumption and as a consequence the amount of noise is minimal. It’s overall dimensions are very compact. With one button to turn the appliance on,connection to an ethernet network and a power supply required;there is no more additional hardware installation required.
